Football murals at Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (central station)
On the wall at Dortmund Hauptbahnhof, Germany, two football murals greet arriving travellers: a player on the ball with "Welcome – Willkommen – Benvenuto – Bienvenue – Bienvenidos", and a player shooting in front of rainbow colours.
About the project
Movement on a brick wall: splashes of orange, red and green set the players in motion, and the large letters can be read from far away. The second photo shows the mural with the player shooting in front of rainbow colours.
At Wandkonzepte, facade murals are painted by hand: once the design has been agreed and the surface checked, the motif is executed with spray, brush and marker techniques, with the airbrush gun used for the finest details.
