Painted transformer station – waterfall and nature

Technical structures can become artworks too: this transformer station in a park shows a waterfall, a water drop, a blue electric motor and the word "Natur" (nature) – with the Stadtwerke Wernigerode logo.

Each facade is approached as a site-specific work of muralism: architectural analysis, hand-drawn concept, then large-scale execution in spray, brush and airbrush. Projects range from commercial graffiti commissions on industrial buildings to photorealistic trompe-l'œil and abstract street-art murals on residential facades.

Why a painted facade?

More than paint on a wall

  • Advertising impact: your building becomes a recognisable landmark – ideal for businesses and restaurants.
  • Added value: grey gables and firewalls become the eye-catcher of the neighbourhood.
  • Protection: painted walls are tagged less often – optionally with anti-graffiti coating. More on graffiti commissions
  • Built to last: a guarantee of at least 5 years on lightfastness and durability*.

The process

  1. Idea & design

We develop your motif together. I create a true-to-scale digital design and we refine it until it is exactly right.

  2. Surface check

Analysis and preparation: repairing damaged areas, ensuring proper adhesion, priming or undercoating – so the artwork lasts.

  3. Painting

Executed one-to-one from the approved design using spray, marker and brush techniques. For the finest details, the airbrush gun comes in.

  4. Protection & guarantee

A guarantee of at least 5 years on lightfastness and durability*. Optional anti-graffiti coating and a security package covering vandalism damage.

* excluding external influences and damaged substrates.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a facade mural cost?

That depends on the size, motif, surface and access (e.g. lifting platform or scaffolding). You will receive a free fixed-price quote based on your photos and measurements. Send me photos and dimensions and you will get a no-obligation estimate.

Do I need a permit?

Depending on the location and building, you may need to coordinate with the owner, the property management or the local building authority. I support you with designs for the application.

How long will the mural last?

I guarantee at least 5 years of lightfastness and durability, excluding external influences and damaged substrates.

Do you work outside Berlin?
