Mural at the port – Container Terminal Dortmund
On the wall of the Container Terminal Dortmund, Germany, a large mural shows what the port is all about: the port office (Hafenamt), a ship, a freight train and a green truck – together with the CTD logo and the lettering “WASSER SCHIENE STRASSE” (water, rail, road).
About the project
The motif picks up the three transport routes named in the lettering: the ship stands for water, the freight train for rail and the green truck for road. The port office completes the scene. The video shows the mural on site on the wall of the terminal.
At Wandkonzepte, facade murals are painted by hand: once the design has been agreed and the surface checked, the motif is executed with spray, brush and marker techniques, with the airbrush gun used for the finest details.
